Having spent a decade behind bars, our founder knows the obstacles of reentry firsthand. Rather than letting those challenges define him, he chose to create solutions. GETT SMART was founded from his determination to provide returning citizens and the tech disadvantaged with the digital skills, support, and hope needed to succeed. With the help of a grant, that vision became reality.

What We've Accomplished
App Successfully Launched on the App Store
GETT SMART officially deployed its mobile app on the Apple App Store, making our learning platform publicly available to users.
Successful Lunch & Launch Event
We hosted a lunch-and-launch event to celebrate the official deployment of the app, bringing together community members, supporters, and partners.
Momentum Built Through Community Support
Since launch, GETT SMART has continued building visibility and credibility through community engagement and recognition. As the platform continues to evolve, GETT SMART Plus is coming soon.

$275,000 Apple Grant Recipient
GETT SMART received foundational grant support from Apple to bring its mobile learning platform from development to public release. This investment helped transform the vision of GETT SMART into a publicly launched technology solution.
